Randy Cash, Owner and Appraiser, founded Southside Appraisal Services in 1995. He began
this business by living in the community, and becoming part of it. Knowing who his
neighbor is, and what he needs and wants, are powerful tools that many businesses simply
don't possess. He makes it his business to understand your needs, and act in a prompt,
decisive manner to maximize the benefits of his service to you.
Appraising property in Southside Virginia for 20 years has often offered challenges. Since many of the nationwide lenders are unfamiliar with rural property and the unique requirements needed to accomplish a credible valuation that will pass underwriter scrutiny. As times become even more difficult, Mr. Cash has proven the experience he possesses has often been useful to those who do not understand the market of Southside Virginia. Mr. Cash is licensed as a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser by the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and has been since the implementation of appraiser licensing in 1993. Mr. Cash has a personal side as well. Part of this site is dedicated to his life outside of work.
